My Story
Aloha, I’m Matthew Tuquero. Maui-born, design-obsessed, and a former mainland trade rep with deep experience navigating product availability, shipping logistics, and the fine print that often complicates getting great design to the islands.

I left Maui in 2008 after graduating from Maui High School for a University in Providence, RI to study becoming a graphic artist. Little did I know it would lead me to the interior design industry and back to Maui to help create beautiful affordable spaces for my peers who deserve it.

I understand that creating a beautiful home on a budget isn’t always easy, especially in HI. Tuquero & Co. is here to help break down that barrier by sourcing quality pieces at accessible prices, so that your version of style and comfort are never out of reach.
